Have you heard of Emmanuelle Brisson ? He's a French photographer , and his shots as we feel are captivating and reflective. Coming across his latest " The Air shivers of things fleeing " reminds us so well, that in fact butterflies are having a good season ! With the creative lot (read photographers, designers, stylists, artists et all ) finding their inspiration in this beautiful creature, we thought we might as well update you on how to bring these to life in your very own wardrobe.
And as we said, butterflies are everywhere you look this spring. See below how celebs carried off these looks - some cute, some classy and some pure dramatic. The prints are colorful all over, or a splash of color on top of serene white. We also share with you the pastel variety and the applique versions too which are not for the faint at heart.
Left : Jordana Brewster at Dannijo & Tucker party in Beverly Hills sported a knitted blouse atop a butterfly dress. Very interesting execution indeed !
Right : Ashley Tisdale of the Miley Cyrus fame, was spotted wearing this cutesy butterfly dress by Motel Rocks while leaving her salon in LA. We love how she's working two trends at the same time - conversational print + ombre splashes of different colors.
Left : Our very own Dia Mirza was spotted in the trend while returning from IIFA Singapore. This shirt dress by Gerard Darel paired up with a tan bag is chic and receives our nod.
Right : Alexis Bledel wore a one shoulder dress to the Coach fete. The print against black and and her wavy hair and pretty burnt red lips all spell serious fashion for us.
