Beauty and the Beach

Hola beauties !

Guess where you should have been this last week ?
Miami beach Florida ! As the third season of Mercedes Benz fashion week Swim,  took place in all it's glory , the exquisite and lively pieces set every one's hearts several beats faster.
The highlight this time at MBFW 2013 , was BCBG Max Azria joining the bad wagon and showcasing for the first time here at an off site show.

If you missed all the beach fun , Heiress brings you a round up of the burst of colors, prints, chic baubles and sizzling cover-ups. This season witnessed blush orange , bubblegum pink ,ocean blues and neon green palette , whereas the prints ranged from bright tribal , sweet florals to painterly water color strokes.

In this first part of " Beauty and the Beach " we showcase the best looks that there were. Be sure to be back tomorrow for the second part where we tell you what the hottest accessories and hair were!

BCBG Max Azria

The first collection of swimwear produced by their collaboration Trimera Group. We loved the pastel beach blue throw jacket in the first look. Micro print in the second one stood out against all other designers and brands favoring brighter and bolder prints.

Poko Pano

Tangerines , pinks and raffia beach bags were the highlight of the show. The almost ocean like print in the middle look paired up with a solid black was very refreshing. In the third look too  the designer experimented with two different prints together.

Agua Bendita

As much as we loved the aztec stipes bikini in pop colors and a sarong to match , the quirky print in the  billowing pants and bikini floored us !

Dolores Cortes

The cut out swimsuit in a beautiful blue-purple with the silver detail is surely a seductive option. The digital print mash up on the other one , reminded us of the trend seen a lot at resort 2013 shows.

Nicolita

They had us at the cute bow bikini , superbly executed and beautiful color ! The sailor mood in the second one , with high rise shorts reminds us of the old world charm !

Lisa Blue

Floral with stripes and that cute ruffle - who can give that a miss ? Red polka dots is a classic and with a hat it rocks more!

L space

The trend at this show was surely Fringes. With a regular bikini given the fringe twist or the fringe neckpiece , we love it all ! The story in the whole collection was very apparent .

Luli Fama

Another bow bikini in candy colors and mash up of paisleys with stars... Lovely ain't it ?

Suboo

We have to say , this was one of our favorite shows with an array of looks for everyone. Beach is not jsut about swimsuits and bikinis - wear a flowy maxi or even a beach top and you would look equally heart throbbing !

Vitamin A

First off, we kind of love the name. Then the brick red bikini would be a fresh view on the beach. The second look with its classic turquoise and green combination looks all the better with the bandana.
